Tanya followed her dad, Peter’s footsteps, to teach in the Horticulture Apprenticeship and Landscape Technician programs at Humber College and serves on several committees for the Garden Centre Group Co-op Corporation.  Her life has been immersed in supporting creative and outdoor living spaces! Perry Grobe
Grobe's Nursery & Garden Centre

Topic; Grobe's Nursery & Garden Centre "Online Warranty submittal/ resolution process"

Bio; Perry started working with plants at Grobe's Nursery and Garden Centre (near Kitchener) at the age of 9 back when Ontario's child labour laws were lax.  He acquired his certification in weed pulling, sweeping and car loading, and ultimately graduated to work in other positions such as a labourer, landscape construction foreman, landscape designer, and operations supervisor before becoming a co-owner in 2006.  Along the way, he learned one or two things about plants, shrubs, diseases, bugs, POS and the like.
He attended the University of Guelph for Horticulture and was quite successful at that (winning 7 scholarships), but ultimately completed his degree in Landscape Architecture. He is currently a provincially registered Landscape Architect.  He is also a past president of the Waterloo Chapter of Landscape Ontario and has participated with the LO Garden Centre Sector Group for many years.
He has an understanding and beautiful wife and two daughters that are fortunate enough to have their mother's good looks, he loves growing and sampling unusual tomato varieties, snooping for new and different plants, and after much practice has found that if a glass of red wine in the garden makes one content, a bottle makes one very happy indeed.
