Waterloo Chapter donation

$13,500 donation split between three charities.
Members of the Landscape Ontario provincial board of directors were joined by CNLA staff at LO home office in Milton to take part in planting trees on National Tree Day, Sept. 25. In recognition of the day, two ‘Purple Fountain’ beech trees were planted.

Landscape Ontario members celebrate National Tree Day 2013

National Tree Day was a proud time for the Waterloo Chapter as members took part in the cutting of the ribbon to open new garden area at Elmira District Secondary School.

Waterloo has greened many region schools

Chapter members have always been very supportive of greening schools.
The Golden Horseshoe Chapter’s move to build community relationships was popular with the students at King’s Road Elementary School in Burlington. The Chapter organized a tree planting day as part of Arbor Day. Upper Canada Chapter greening Kingston school

John Graves Simcoe Public School to receive $10,000 worth of plants from Sheridan Nurseries and $10,000 worth of rubber products from an Ontario Tire Stewardship company.
Derek Geddes of Coldstream Land Escape Company in London and his wife enjoy raising miniature horses. Geddes is a director on the London Chapter Board.
