The third annual Highway of Heroes Tree Campaign golf tournament was held Aug. 22 at the Port Hope Golf and Country Club in Port Hope, Ont. The sold-out tournament of 96 golfers enjoyed great weather while helping to raise funds for the campaign to plant 117,000 trees along Highway 401 from Toronto to Trenton in honour of fallen Canadian soldiers.

Organizers are proud to announce this year’s tournament raised $83,000, thanks to the generosity of golfers, sponsors and supporters, including an anonymous sponsor who matched all contributions.
